CG Telecom Starts Fiber Internet Service In Kathmandu

CG Communications has started its internet service (CG NET) in Kathmandu Valley today. CG NET aims to provide a High-speed fiber network and exceptional customer experience at the lowest price possible. Currently, it provides a 120 Mbps Internet package. The company was licensed to operate as Network Service Provider and Internet Service Provider by Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTA) on March 16, 2021.

With the first launch, CG Telecom has brought CG net fiber with a speed of 120 Mbps which is for the first time in Nepal. The price of the CG net fiber is Rs 999 for a month. It seems like a promotional offer for now which also provides free installation and free drop wire charge. Whereas you need to pay for the wireless router which you can choose between single-band or dual-band.

The cost of the wireless router decreases as you subscribe for 3 months, 6 months whereas it comes free with 12 months subscription. Finally, there is a refundable deposit of Rs 500 for the registration.

CG Net:Introductory Offer

CG Telecom is now registered as a Public Limited Company. Therefore, it will offer its share to the general public. Its stock can be acquired privately through IPO or via Stock Market sooner.

According to the General Manager Of the company, Mr. Madhusudan Poudel, the private operating company will now operate as CG Communications Limited. Nonetheless, the company recently completed all of the works to change its name from the company registrar’s office.
